Cross-party harm minimisation summit to work on a fresh approach to drugs policy

A cross-party group of MPs are hosting a harm minimisation summit, saying progress in the area has stalled since the pioneering medically supervised injecting room was controversially opened in Kings Cross fifteen years ago. The centre remains controversial and the Assistant Health Minister, Pru Goward, is declining to guarantee its future.
