As the US presidential race heads into the home stretch, new polls show Donald Trump closing in on Hillary Clinton. And the Republican nominee is hoping to close that gap even further, following the launch of his $10 million TV campaign, which is airing in nine swing states.

But Donald Trump says that if the media had covered him honestly in this campaign, he would be beating Hillary Clinton by a good 20 percentage points.

The billionaire businessman has had a combative relationship with the media during his run for the White House, while Hillary Clinton has accused the media of subjecting her to double standards because she's a female candidate.
