Description

The ACTU is gearing up for a major campaign in the lead up to the next election to change the workplace laws.

The push for stronger worker protections comes as union battles break out on a number of fronts, including over the cuts to both penalty rates and the company tax rate plus the government's new internships for young unemployed people.

Sally McManus is the recently installed Secretary of the ACTU.

Her proclamation - that it's okay to break the law, if the law is unjust - infuriated the Turnbull Government.
