The European Union (EU) has enacted two key regulations relating to data processing- the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)(link is external) and the Network and Information Security Directive (NISD). They are expected to apply to organizations within and outside Europe by May 2018. Is your organization ready to comply with these regulations?

When the GDPR comes into full force any company based in Hong Kong or anywhere else outside the EU, will need to have governance policies in place if they collect, store or process any EU citizen data.
