7 Apr 2008
Description

This population-based study found an increased risk of mental illness in victims hospitalised due to interpersonal violence and an associated hospital costs burden to the community. In identifying the population groups most at risk of hospital admission for interpersonal violence, the report recommends targeting crime prevention programs and support services to these people.
