This book is inspired by the University of the South Pacific, the leading institution of higher education in the Pacific Islands region. It celebrates the collaboration of USP with the Australian National University in research, doctoral training, teaching and joint activities.
Hospital admissions have risen faster than population growth, and last financial year saw a rise in influenza related hospitalisations, according to this report. There were also relatively high rates of admissions classified as potentially preventable in 2017–18.
The goal of this report is to provide an exploration of access to information as a driver of development. In doing so, it seeks to inform decision-making about the implementation of the SDGs. It is intended for policymakers and advisers, as well as anyone who is seeking more effective ways to support development, and the librarians and library workers who can help deliver it.
This report is a mixed-methods research project examining the current Northern Territory alcohol treatment services system. It provides an assessment of how much treatment is currently provided; how much should be provided to meet current demand; and the challenges, barriers and opportunities associated with the planning and delivery of alcohol treatment services in the Territory.
