Machine learning models for identifying pre-frailty in community dwelling older adults

The results of this study indicate that machine learning methods are well suited for predicting pre-frailty, and indicate a range of factors that may be useful to include in targeted health assessments to identify pre-frailty in middle aged and older adults.

More than 3 billion people do not have access to clean energy and primarily use solid fuels to cook. This paper urges efforts to accelerate the adoption of clean cooking fuels to improve air quality and avert child mortality associated with household air pollution.

The authors of this paper investigated the potential transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in a primary school setting and found that, despite a lower frequency of close contacts, teacher-to-teacher close contacts demonstrated a higher risk of transmission per contact of SARS-CoV-2 compared to student-to-student close contacts.
