Everyone has the right to make decisions. People with cognitive impairment may need additional support. This project reviewed existing research on supported decision-making and developed a Principles and Guide to best implement supported decision-making.

This research report has been prepared by staff from the Centre of Research Excellence in Disability and Health. The report explores data and information about the prevalence and experience of violence against, and abuse, neglect and exploitation of people with disability.
