An intersectional approach to analyse gender productivity and open access: a bibliometric analysis of the Italian National Research Council
Gender and openness are key elements of responsible research and innovation. This paper represents a first exploration of the inter-linkages between gender and OA analysing the scientific production of researchers of the Italian National Research Council under a gender perspective integrated with the different OA publications modes.

It is no longer readers and libraries paying subscription fees, but scientific organizations and authors themselves who pay for the cost of having their article published to allow unrestricted access. Data shows a tremendous variance in article processing charges (APC) across journals, and this study aims to shed light on the various determinants of APC.

Open access in ethics research: an analysis of open access availability and author self-archiving behaviour in light of journal copyright restrictions
This study provides a detailed mapping of the bibliometric state of open access to journal publications among ethicists, taking into account not only open access publishing in journals directly, but also where and in what form ethicists make their journal articles available elsewhere on the web.
