Maari Ma Health Aboriginal Corporation commissioned the Menzies School of Health Research (Menzies) to partner in an evaluation of its Chronic Disease Strategy. The purpose of this evaluation is to review the development and implementation of this Strategy over the past 10 years and to provide guidance on further work. The evaluation was completed between January and December 2016, with data collected from four main sources: hospitalisation records, clinical indicators from quality improvement processes, program administration data, and interviews with 68 key informants either individually or as part of a group. Maari Ma and Menzies then worked collaboratively on interpreting and evaluating the data.
