Cultural competence training

Publisher
Description

Cultural competence training aims to educate Australians to better identify and challenge their cultural assumptions, values and beliefs.

It's been in the news recently following the story of what happened to Tarren Betteridge, a young Aboriginal woman who'd missed out on a job with GenerationOne because she was told her skin was not dark enough.

Bronwyn Lumby is the founder and director of the Centre for Cultural Competence Australia. It is the first online provider of accredited, competency based, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural competence training.
