Researching the personal impact of epilepsy

People with epilepsy, their carers and family value being consulted. Their hope is to improve their own quality of life as well as the quality of others living with epilepsy. This project set out to: (1) contribute information on the needs of people with epilepsy to an applied research agenda to ensure future applied social research undertaken by Epilepsy Foundation Victoria meets the needs of people with epilepsy; (2) improve the services currently offered to clients by the Epilepsy Foundation of Victoria and (3) develop a better community understanding of the needs and capacities of people with epilepsy.
