Summary

This is the fifth consecutive year that when have been able to make statewide cancer incidence and mortality statistics available within 12 months of the diagnosis year, making it among the most current in the world. It includes survival estimates, projections of incidence and mortality for up to 2029, and cancer statistics for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Victorians for 2010-2014. There is also a more detailed analysis of prostate cancer, including Medicare data on PSA testing and its relationship to incidence rates.
