How do you measure trust in social institutions and health professionals? A systematic review of the literature

The importance of measuring trust in health systems has been accentuated due to its correlation with important health outcomes aimed at reducing COVID-19 transmission. This review finds that measuring trust is still inadequate and future research is needed to understand the correlation with health behaviours and outcomes.

High rates of alcohol consumption by midlife women, despite the documented risks associated with breast cancer, varies according to social class. However, we know little about how to develop equitable messaging regarding breast cancer prevention that takes into consideration class differences in the receipt and use of such information.
