This is the sixth report published by the NSW Domestic Violence Death Review Team since its establishment in 2010. The culmination of two years of work, this report outlines findings from the 53 domestic violence context deaths examined by the team between 2017 and 2019.

The development of this specialised national domestic and family violence homicide dataset has been one of the key goals of the network since its establishment. Analysis of this data can provide a better understanding of potential opportunities for intervention prior to domestic and family violence related homicide, and inform prevention initiatives at a national level.
