The Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia (AHCWA)'s submission to the WA Department of Water and Environmental Regulation’s (DWER) Issues Paper on Climate Change in Western Australia.

Ahead of the 2020-2021 State Budget, Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia (AHCWA) submitted recommendations to the State Government on necessary strategic priorites and funding commitments to ensure Aboriginal people and their communities have every opportunity to attain optimal health and wellbeing.

National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) has developed this submission with input from two of our affiliates—Aboriginal Health & Medical Research Council (AH&MRC) and Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia (AHCWA). A full list of recommendations is presented at the end of this submission.

The Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia (AHCWA) provided a submission to the WA Department of Health’s Climate Health Inquiry.

Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia (AHCWA) has been represented on the Western Australian Women’s Health and Wellbeing Policy Working Group and, further to verbal advice already provided, provided a submission with formal written feedback on the policy.
