In 1991, the introduction of the Anti-Discrimination Act was an important plank in the Goss Government’s agenda to modernise Queensland laws, and offered the promise of equal and effective protection against discrimination to a range of historically disadvantaged groups. This report makes 46 recommendations directed at modernising and strengthening Queensland’s discrimination protections.
