This report outlines findings from a survey comparing the workplace experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across environments with and without Reconciliation Action Plans in place. Participants report more positive workplace experiences where Reconciliation Action Plans are in place.

This report is an examination of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s workplace experiences in Australia. The message from participants is clear: organisations have made some progress but not enough. Racism and lack of cultural safety remain widespread, and without organisations deeply committing to truth-listening and truth-acting, meaningful change will remain out of reach.
