This thesis seeks to address the relative absence of literature about grounded and localised approaches to peacebuilding in contemporary Fiji. It documents how and why Fiji artists, activists and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) are increasingly using participatory, storying and arts-based approaches to engage communities in creative processes of imagining possibilities for peace.
