This report includes profiles of local projects, as well as a call for government action to address structural and systemic issues regarding housing availability and affordability.

Drawing on a series of youth consultations in Victoria, WA, NSW and ACT, this project aims to develop a strategy for engaging refugee young people in advocating to have their needs and concerns addressed and ideas recognised at a national level.

This paper seeks to explore definitions and meanings of ‘good settlement’, investigate our current service system, introduce some of the components of effective settlement systems which address young people’s needs, and make a series of recommendations within a ‘framework for good youth settlement.’
