The COVID-19 pandemic has transformed how we live and work. The objective of this paper is to provide an analysis of how workers, employers and sectors can fortify themselves in a new economy.
This report argues that the Canadian public sector should expand its interchange program with the private sector in order to diversify its employees’ networks and skill sets and, in so doing, help the public service face employment challenges and disruptive technologies.
