This Australian study explores the use of sexual violence victims’ private records in criminal prosecutions and how independent legal representation – a dedicated lawyer for victims – can protect victims’ private records. The findings provide insight into how victims’ private records are used in court and the effects this has on victims.

This project aimed to inform efforts to better detect and prevent child sexual abuse through a rigorous analysis of the prevalence and attitudinal, behavioural and demographic correlates of sexual feelings and/or offending against children amongst Australian men.

This paper presents the findings of the first study to examine the crossover between domestic violence, coercive control and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) offending in intimate relationships.

This report argues that there is a need for targeted research into the circumstances, patterns and dynamics of child sexual abuse material production perpetrated by parental figures, in order to inform strategies to prevent and detect offending parents.

This research attempts to understand GBTIQ men’s experiences of intimate partner violence and sexual assault.
