Researchers face significant challenges to finding and using archival collections relevant to their interests. For this project, OCLC was responsible for conducting research to illuminate the needs of both archival researchers and cultural heritage institutions regarding finding aid aggregation and evaluating the quality of existing finding aid data at scale.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted libraries of all types around the world, requiring library leaders to respond to rapidly shifting community and institutional needs. This briefing synthesizes findings and recommendations within the context of work experiences, collections experiences and engagement experiences during the pandemic.
