This report analyses projects where data has been shared between government departments, and with commercial organisations, identifying recurring barriers, and the steps that were taken to address them. It focuses on citizen trust, which the report argues needs to be addressed if we are to maximise the value of data held.

For public policies to achieve social change, they must increase awareness, community engagement and uptake of information about the target social issue. This project aimed to assess the extent to which changes in public awareness and engagement could be detected in response to Victorian Family Violence policy.
