Greenhouse Studios (GS) is a scholarly communications research laboratory dedicated to using collaborative models and design principles in the creation of scholarly works.

The 2016 National Research Infrastructure Roadmap outlines national research infrastructure required for the coming decade, so that Australia’s world class research system continues to improve productivity, create jobs, lift economic growth and support a healthy environment.

This final report of the four part series examines the sourcing and scaling choices made by the four research universities regarding their acquisition of Research Data Management (RDM) capacity.

An excellent response rate was achieved for the 2018 Top Ten survey. All Australian and New Zealand university Members and a Papua New Guinea university participated.

Based on interviews with staff members from thirteen large research universities in the United States, this paper provides a rich, qualitative description of research data curation and use practices in Institutional Repositories (IRs).
