The purpose of this project was to forecast the return on investment over three years of a very remote, a regional and an urban Indigenous Broadcasting Service (IBS) by understanding, estimating and valuing their impact on stakeholders.

The Regional Arts Fund (RAF) is a devolved Australian Government program that supports sustainable cultural development in regional and remote Australia. This report describes the impact the fund has had on regional artists, arts organisations and communities between 2012-2016.

This submission recommends that government create more flexible policy solutions that better suit the diversity found in remote Australia, while providing local people with genuine power to determine how policy works in their community.

Decent housing underpins the Closing the Gap goals, with a decade-long national remote housing program having made measurable progress. If the Commonwealth pulls out now, hard-won gains could be lost.

This paper uses data from the 2006, 2011 and 2016 censuses to analyse the distribution of income within the Indigenous population, and between the Indigenous and non-Indigenous populations. Particular attention is given to geographic variation in Indigenous income, poverty and inequality.
