This report is the sixth annual compilation of data on Community Aged Care Packages, an Australian government-funded program designed to provide assistance to enable frail or disabled older people with complex care needs to continue living in the community. These packages provide an alternative to low level residential aged care. For data on residential aged care there is a companion volume, also released annually, entitled Residential Aged Care in Australia 2003-04.
