The primary objective of this research was to work with key stakeholders and the communities affected by Fly-in/Fly-out (FIFO) operations to develop a more sustainable and mutually advantageous future by arriving at strategies to maximise identified benefits and minimise identified negative impacts of FIFO in the Pilbara.
