National ice action strategy 1.54 MB
Description

Proportionally, Australians use methamphetamine – including ice – more than almost any other country in the world and the number of users continues to grow. As ice use increases, so too does its impact on individuals, families and the community.

All governments have agreed to this National Ice Action Strategy which will see a joint national focus on tackling ice. The priority will be to help families and communities who are most affected. In addition, all governments agreed that – to make a real impact – action is needed to reduce the demand for ice by focusing on prevention and treatment. Governments will also continue to tackle the supply of ice by building on recent law enforcement successes.
