Description

This report identifies eight overarching sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) strategies for Australia and the Pacific to support achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The report provides a situational analysis of Goals 3, 8, 10, 13, 16 and 17 in Australia and the Pacific and highlights the centrality of sexual and reproductive health and rights to the achievement of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.

The overarching ambition of this report is to highlight gaps and opportunities for SRHR interventions that would assist the implementation of the SDGs.

This report also aims to influence domestic policy and funding that promotes awareness of how SRHR interventions can achieve the SDGs and provides a mechanism for civil society to provide structured feedback to government to ensure no-one is left behind in the implementation of the SDGs.
