Data as art

Jonathan Harris discusses how he combines elements of computer science, anthropology, visual art, statistics and storytelling to create works of art. His recent projects include; Building the world’s largest time capsule, documenting an Eskimo whale hunt and co creating we feel fine  - a data driven art work that uses large scale blog analysis to measure the emotional temperature of the human world. Common to all his projects is the way he reshapes and re-imagines data as art.
