While there is a considerable body of research relating to housing, disability and care, there have been very few studies that have looked at policy linkages across all three areas and the combined impact of policies in meeting unmet need. Housing and Care for Younger and Older Adults with Disabilities argues that while policy reform directions are clear and much has already been achieved, there are still major issues associated with achieving a whole-of- sector or cross-jurisdictional basis for the appropriate care and management of older and younger people with disabilities.
