Description
The Voluntary Assisted Dying Ministerial Advisory Panel (the Panel) was tasked with providing the Minister for Health with an interim report within three months.
This interim report sets out the key issues, concerns and potential solutions provided to the Panel by people who participated in the consultation process. While there was consensus on a number of issues, the Panel also heard a range of divergent views about the most appropriate way to develop and implement voluntary assisted dying legislation. The purpose of this interim report is to reflect the range of views that the Panel has noted and will be considering in the development of its recommendations for the introduction of voluntary assisted dying in Victoria.
