The strategy charts how applied geoscience will help Australia navigate complex national challenges and create benefits for generations to come. It outlines how integrated geoscience insights will be delivered across five key focus areas: resource potential; positioning and navigation services; earth analysis; national land, marine and coastal mapping; and hazards and impacts.

This evaluation of the Digital Earth Africa program, which aimed to improve the lives of Africans through access to tailored information for decision making, found the program had made excellent progress against its expected outcomes. A solid foundation had been laid to deliver continued benefits through a reliable high-quality platform and strong local partnerships.
