The purpose of this report is to inform and inspire action towards increased adoption of circular economy business models and thinking in Australia. With circular economy adoption in its relative infancy in Australia, the report provides foundational perspectives for both industry and government to enable progress towards circularity.

This report highlights the need for Australia to implement a circular economy framework that will guide measurement for government at all levels. It also provides a baseline understanding of the current state of circular economy measurement in Australia and guidance on what is required to enable progress towards more effective metrics.
