In Australia, more parents are using formal childcare to support their participation in the workforce. Yet, childcare is becoming less affordable, with fees and out-of-pocket costs growing above inflation in recent years – despite the availability of taxpayer subsidies.

To prevent politicisation and preserve pluralism in Australian business, this report proposes that a new clarifying principle should be introduced into the language and practice of corporate governance to overtly qualify existing CSR philosophies – the Community Pluralism Principle.

The right to religious freedom is not the only fundamental human right. It cannot therefore be absolute, but exists alongside other rights. How different rights and freedom coexist is one of the big questions facing our nation today.
