This final report of the Independent Review into the National Disability Insurance Scheme makes 26 recommendations with 139 supporting actions. The recommendations provide a blueprint to renew the promise of the NDIS to deliver a more accessible and inclusive Australia.

Ten years ago, people with disability, their families and the organisations supporting them came together to fight for the creation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This report outlines what the NDIS Review has heard so far.

The NDIS was established to empower participants to engage directly with their chosen providers on what services they receive, and what price they would pay. The NDIS market, however, is not yet working for all participants, and this paper provides findings to improve NDIS pricing arrangements and seeks feedback for problematic areas.

NDIS participants have the same right to safety as other members of the community, including when they use supports and services. This proposals paper provides information about what the NDIS Review has learned so far on NDIS Participant Safeguarding, and seeks feedback on its ideas to improve safeguards for participants.

This issues paper provides some background on the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and describes issues that the disability sector, and other interested parties, have raised to date, as well as those identified in previous reviews and inquiries.
