In this article the authors argue safeguarding the future of disability inclusive co-design requires a systemic shift towards accountability and transparency. Recommendations around shared language, building capacity and co-design reporting frameworks are made with the aim of safeguarding the integrity of the co-design method.

This report provides insights gathered from Queenslanders with disability, family/carers and organisational representatives in 2025. Queenslanders shared what is going well and what is challenging across many aspects of their lives. There was progress in areas like health and safety and declines in employment and housing security.
