This report estimates the economic contribution of the Great Barrier Reef in 2023–24 and estimates the future economic dividend to the Great Barrier Reef region from limiting climate change and adaptation actions. It values the reef at $95 billion across economic, social and cultural dimensions; contributing $9 billion to Australia’s economy each year.
