This snapshot reports on the preliminary findings from research that asked how digital inclusion affected the Australian cultural sector in the wake of COVID-19.

The COVID-19 pandemic has underlined the critical importance of digital inclusion in contemporary Australia. The Australian Digital Inclusion Index (ADII) was first published in 2016. This edition provides the most comprehensive picture of Australia’s online participation to date.

In 2020 the Australian Digital Inclusion project team sought feedback on a reimagined Australian Digital Inclusion Index. Submissions closed 13 March 2020.This document summarises the feedback received, and details how that feedback has informed the ADII 2.0.
