The authors of this report argue that implementing appropriate responses to reports of dating app facilitated sexual violence is important not only for supporting victim-survivors to recover from victimisation, but also for ensuring that victim-survivors of these behaviours choose to report again if they are revictimised.

While much national and international literature recognises the intersections of family violence and sexual harm, there is as yet little research and policy within Australia generally, or within Victoria, that addresses the co-occurrence of family violence and sexual harm experienced by adult victim/survivors. This research begins to address this important evidence gap.

In November 2022, the Senate referred an inquiry into current and proposed sexual consent laws in Australia to the Legal and Constitutional Affairs References Committee. This report outlines the findings from that inquiry.

This inquiry was triggered following a series of public reports of sexual assault and harassment in Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) workplaces. At a time when the prevalence of sexual harassment across industries and sectors was becoming increasingly apparent, the committee decided to look at the particulars in the mining industry.

seeks to build young men’s capacity to manage their feelings in response to perceived rejection and to model respectful and ethical online communication. This innovative approach seeks to complement existing resources that aim to change attitudes around masculinity, increase awareness of the impact of image-based abuse and online harassment, or to model bystander intervention.
