This paper draws on a review of Australian and international literature on disability employment and social procurement. Government publications examining public procurement as a policy response to unemployment, as well as reports produced by social procurement intermediary organisations both in Australia and internationally, were also reviewed.

Employer mobilisation research
A research snapshot in understanding behaviours, attitudes and intentions of employers in Australia towards recruiting, supporting and accommodating people with health conditions or disabilities. The analysis revealed six employer segments that differ in their openness, capacity and supportiveness of their culture. Key barriers and opportunities are identified.
