Indigenous procurement policies are kicking goals, but who for?

In 2017 Ithaka S+R launched a project to explore the changing research methods and practices of Indigenous Studies scholars across Canada and the United States. The goal of this report is to serve as a companion piece to the local research undertaken by the cohort participants.

This article outlines seven observations from a review of initiatives that have replicated their model to increase social impact.

The purpose of this report is to outline key initiatives by universities to improve Indigenous higher education participation and success and deepen relationships and knowledge in institutions. The report draws on 2017 sector-wide statistics and qualitative information provided by universities in survey responses.

This audit was undertaken to provide assurance that the Closing the Gap framework is appropriately governed, and that monitoring and reporting arrangements are being managed effectively and draw on accurate and appropriate data.
