This submission from a group of young people relates to the collection and processing of children’s data, particularly for the purposes of profiling and behavioural advertising. It argues for stronger protections to give children more say about how their data is used and ensure use aligns with their best interests.

This submission highlights that significant capacity gaps exist for mitigating electorally relevant mis and disinformation.
