Ethnic‐specific suggestions for physical activity based on existing recreational physical activity preferences of New Zealand women
This research examined recreational physical activities of New Zealand women, in an attempt to develop ethnic‐specific suggestions encouraging physical activity (PA) participation as a targeted approach to reduce obesity rates.

Physical activity during pregnancy 2011–12
Currently, little is known about what types of physical activity pregnant women undertake in Australia. This short report investigates the types and amount of physical activity undertaken by women during pregnancy, with comparisons made between pregnant and non-pregnant women of the same age, and against Australia’s Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour Guidelines for adults.

The relationship between sedentary behaviour, back pain, and psychosocial correlates among university employees
This study of 479 individuals at Qatar University investigated the relationship between levels of sedentary behavior, physical activity, and back pain and their psychosocial correlates among university employees. Associations between the home yard and preschoolers’ outdoor play and physical activity
Young children’s outdoor play mostly occurs within the home-yard space, yet the influence of the home yard on preschoolers’ outdoor play and physical activity is poorly understood. We investigated the relationships between home-yard features and home-based outdoor play and physical activity in preschoolers (2–5 years old).
