The Disability Royal Commission has made 222 recommendations on how to improve laws, policies, structures and practices to ensure a more inclusive and just society that supports the independence of people with disability and their right to live free from violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation.

This report includes the results of the Housing Hub's second annual Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Provider Experience Survey. In total, 41 providers completed the survey. The report also includes a series of recommendations for the NDIA, to ensure its stewardship of the SDA market maximises positive outcomes for both participants and providers.

This paper highlights the current and longstanding housing issues that adversely affect older people, people with disability and carers in NSW. It discusses the barriers to accessible, affordable and well-located housing for these cohorts and identifies key actions that are needed.

Provision of supported accommodation services for people with disabilities are in a state of flux, as new ways of funding and delivering services are implemented as part of National Disability Insurance Scheme. The focus of this review is group homes and people with intellectual disabilities who are the biggest group of people using these services.
