This report into the mental health and wellbeing of police and emergency services reflects the voices and experiences of 21,014 serving and former employees and volunteers from police, fire, ambulance and state emergency services agencies. The response rate signals that mental health and wellbeing are not only important, but top of mind.

Youth survey report 2018
Each year, Mission Australia encourages young people aged 15-19 to ‘speak up’ about the issues that concern them through Australia’s largest annual youth survey. Over 28,000 young people participated in 2018. For the first time, mental health was the number one issue of national concern in every Australian state and territory.

Understanding how best to respond to the needs of Australians living with personality disorder
The purpose of this report is to review current evidence-based practice, service availability and experiences of treatment for Australians with lived experience of personality disorder, regardless of their circumstances. An overarching aim of this body of work is to improve management of and access to effective treatment and support services for these people.

This framework has been developed by the NSW Mental Health Commission and the NSW Ministry of Health, in collaboration with people with lived experience of a suicide attempt or suicide bereavement, government agencies, mental health organisations and experts in suicide prevention.
