This report provides a detailed analysis of how Australian employers have experienced and adapted to COVID-19. Between May to October 2020, the research team interviewed 32 leaders, managers and officers at 28 organisations across Australia. Many surveys on COVID-19 in 2020 focused on worker preferences. This study uniquely focuses on the employer response.

A research snapshot in understanding behaviours, attitudes and intentions of employers in Australia towards recruiting, supporting and accommodating people with health conditions or disabilities. The analysis revealed six employer segments that differ in their openness, capacity and supportiveness of their culture. Key barriers and opportunities are identified.

Employers' perspectives on benefit conditionality in the UK and Denmark

This article examines the demand-side of active labour market policies. It analyses employers' perspectives and experiences of these policies. The article argues employer perspectives demonstrate the current benefit conditionality regime in the UK risks undermining candidates' chances of securing employment.
