The authors provide a range of scenarios in which open data and generative AI could intersect, and outline how open data providers and other interested parties can help make open data 'ready' for those specific scenarios.

Summary of research: findings from the Building a National Archival Finding Aid Network Project
Researchers face significant challenges to finding and using archival collections relevant to their interests. For this project, OCLC was responsible for conducting research to illuminate the needs of both archival researchers and cultural heritage institutions regarding finding aid aggregation and evaluating the quality of existing finding aid data at scale.

Digital Earth Africa: independent evaluation
This evaluation of the Digital Earth Africa program, which aimed to improve the lives of Africans through access to tailored information for decision making, found the program had made excellent progress against its expected outcomes. A solid foundation had been laid to deliver continued benefits through a reliable high-quality platform and strong local partnerships.
