Scholarly communication is the process through which research products and outputs are created, assessed, improved, shared, disseminated and preserved in a variety of modes, including through formal and informal publications, conferences and other academic networking methods. In this report, the authors seek to provide a high-level overview of the shared infrastructure that supports scholarly communication.

This paper proposes methodological approaches to automatically categorise journal articles into one or more Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The authors collaborate with Swinburne University of Technology researchers to collect a set of sustainable development articles with topics covering all SDGs.
